Chicago area authorities investigate cab driver's death

CHICAGO (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of a 54-year-old cab driver who was robbed in Chicago and later found dead in a suburb.
The Cook County medical examiner's office says Ismail M. Abdulle's death was ruled a homicide. An autopsy on Monday showed he died of multiple injuries in an assault.
Authorities say his body was found Sunday morning in his car in Blue Island.
No further details were released.
Friends and family are expected to gather on Tuesday at a Muslim community center for his funeral prayers.
