Grains mixed, livestock mixed

CHICAGO -- Grain futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery was up 2 cents at $4.4260 a bushel; Dec corn gained 1 cent 3.5040 a bushel; December oats gained 1.60 cents at $2.49 a bushel while Nov. soybeans was unchanged at $9.6820 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was up .40 cent at $1.1055 a pound; October feeder cattle was up .63 cent at $1.5420 a pound; October lean hogs was unchanged at $.6093 a pound.
