Grains lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery was up 2.40 cents at $4.4720 a bushel; Dec corn lost 1.40 cents 3.50 a bushel; December oats lost .40 cent at $2.52 a bushel while Nov. soybeans declined 1.60 cents to $9.5540 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was up .20 cent at $1.0803 a pound; October feeder cattle was up .80 cent at $1.5115 a pound; October lean hogs was up 1.60 cents at $.5885 a pound.
