Chicago officials identify man, pregnant woman fatally shot

CHICAGO (AP) - Chicago authorities have identified a man and pregnant woman who were fatally shot and say the baby is in critical condition.

The Cook County medical examiner's office says 20-year-old Charnella Lemon died of multiple gunshot wounds and 33-year-old Terrence Carter died of a gunshot wound to the chest. Their deaths were ruled homicides.

Doctors saved Lemon's baby girl. She was listed in critical condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn after Friday's shooting.

Carter was pronounced dead at the scene. Lemon was pronounced dead later at the hospital.

Chicago police say the shooting may have been domestic-related.
