Coroner identifies Lafayette woman, son as shooting victims

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a Lafayette woman and her son who were shot to death at their home.

Tippecanoe County Coroner Donna Avolt said Friday that an autopsy determined 67-year-old Catalina Lujano-Campuzano and 38-year-old Gustavo Sanchez-Campuzan each were shot four times.

Lafayette police say officers called to their home Thursday night found them wounded outside the residence. Both were later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Police say a 52-year-old man wanted in connection with the slayings was arrested Friday.

Lafayette is about 65 miles northwest of Indianapolis.
