FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - Two people were killed in separate vehicle accidents in northeast Indiana.

The Fort Wayne Journal Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/2upKW5D) the two crashes both occurred Friday in Allen and Whitley counties.

Erik S. Mollberg, of Columbia City, died Friday afternoon after his motorcycle was struck by a van just outside Fort Wayne. The 57-year-old was a well-known community radio manager and local figure in public access television. The Allen County Coroner's office says Mollberg was wearing a helmet.

Indiana State Police say Darrell L. Jeffrey, 55, of Allen County, died in the second crash, which occurred in Whitley County. Two others were also hurt, including one man with life-threatening injuries who was ejected from a vehicle.

Police say Jeffrey's van rolled over after it was struck by another motorist.
