Slavia Prague signs midfielders Danny, Altintop, Rotan

PRAGUE (AP) - Czech champion Slavia Prague says it has signed international midfielders Danny, Halil Altintop and Ruslan Rotan.

Slavia chief executive Jaroslav Tvrdik announced the signings on Tuesday without giving details.

The 33-year-old Danny, who is from Portugal, has spent nine years with Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg, while the 34-year-old Altintop, from Turkey, last played for German club Augsburg. The two are set to join Slavia on July 5 at a training camp in Austria.

The 35-year-old Rotan previously played for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in his native Ukraine.

Slavia also says goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka is moving to Bundesliga club Werder Bremen.
