Grain mixed, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was 9.40 cents higher at $4.1640 a bushel; May corn was off 2.40 cents at $3.58 a bushel; May oats was up 3.40 cents at $2.26 a bushel while May soybeans fell 6.80 cents to $9.4140 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was 4.28 cents higher at $1.3718 a pound; April feeder cattle was up 4.65 cents at $1.4015 pound; May lean hogs rose .60 cent to $.6693 a pound.
