Grain mixed, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was 3.40 cents lower at $4.02 a bushel; May corn was up 2 cents at $3.6040 a bushel; May oats was up 2 cents at $2.1960 a bushel while May soybeans declined 20.60 cents to $9.5940 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was .65 cent higher at $1.2990 a pound; April feeder cattle was up .55 cent at $1.3880 pound; May lean hogs rose 1.43 cents to $.6523 a pound.
