Emmett's in West Dundee again hosts its Brewmaster dinner series: five courses, four beers, plus a brewery tour starting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 20. Eats include chicken and waffles, shrimp spring roll, lemon grass-basil sorbet, braised beef short rib and trio of chocolate truffles. Beer pairings are: Fortune Hunter Maibock, Agent Orange Belgian Saison, Limoncello Drizzle, Smoked Chipotle Porter and Backstabber Black IPA. $59.99 per person, plus tax. The Fox Rocker

Crystal Lake Brewing and Matrix Broadcasting WFXF/103.9 the Fox joined forces to create a classic-rock-inspired beer: the Fox Rocker, an American-style Red Ale that will be available throughout the region - on tap and in cans.
