Grain higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was .60 cent higher at $4.34 a bushel; May corn was up 3.20 cents at $3.7220 a bushel; May oats was up .20 cent at $2.2460 a bushel while May soybeans gained 9.60 cents to $9.5740 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was .45 cent lower at $1.2375 a pound; April feeder cattle was down .78 cent at $1.3673 pound; April lean hogs lost .18 cent to $.6240 a pound.
