Aurora officer faces domestic battery charges

An Aurora officer was charged Wednesday with domestic battery, ABC 7 reports.

Brian Shields of the Aurora Police Department is accused of hitting another person April 5. He has since been put on administrative duty and surrendered his weapons while Aurora police conduct an internal investigation, ABC 7 reported.
