Softball: Larkin rallies to topple Addison Trail

Larkin pounded out 10 hits and scored 8 runs in the sixth inning to come from behind and defeat Addison Trail 12-10 on Tuesday.

Mackenzie Malone (2-4, HR, 2 runs, 3 RBI), Gloria Stoltz (2-4, 2 runs), Haley Bohne (2-2, HR 3 runs, 2 RBI), Alexia Urbanik (2B, 2 RBI), Sophie Young (2-4, RBI, 2B), Hannah Gross (3-4, 2 runs) and Morgan Poile (3-4, RBI) led the Royals.

Gross pitched all 7 innings for the win.

St. Charles East 12, East Aurora 2: Allie Balaskovits (3-for-3, 2 runs, 2 RBI), Rylee Stout (HR, 4 RBI) and Paige Ligocki (2-for-2) all had big days for the Saints (9-2).

West Aurora 10, Streamwood 2: Gab Drager allowed 2 runs in the first 2 innings, then Hannah Beatus (3 innings, 8 strikeouts, 0 hits) and Payton Lundberg (2 innings, 6 strikeouts, 0 hits) combined to no-hit the Sabres over the final 5 innings.

Grace Hunger went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI, Sophia Delgado was 2-for-4 with 2 runs and Shai Erdrich was 2-for-2 for the Blackhawks (10-2).

Laura Dietrich drove in both runs for the Sabres (3-2).

Batavia 11, Glenbard East 1: Jaelen Lisberg struck out 12 without walking a batter, leading the Bulldogs to an Upstate Eight victory.

Toni Galas went 4-for-4 to spark Batavia's 13-hit attack. Jena Bendoraitis and Kaylan Waldron both had 2 hits and 3 RBI.

Geneva 5, West Chicago 0: Annika Radabaugh hit a pair of home runs and Katie Keller blasted another for the Vikings.

South Elgin 9, Elgin 1: Alissa Hargett, Casey Brennan, McKayla Timmons and GraceAnne Aldred all had 2 hits for the Storm (5-6). Timmons homered and drove in 3 runs, and Hargett had a triple.

Sidney Strama pitched all 7 innings for the Storm, striking out five and walking one.

Elgin's Neredia Rosas was 3-for-3 with 2 singles and a double and Caitlin Keith was 1-for-3 with a solo home run.

Rosary 10, St. Ignatius 0: Sarah Willman tossed a 2-hit shutout for the Royals, striking out six and walking none. Xandria Olsen went 2-for-2 with 2 runs, Krystal Cortest had 2 hits, Mikayla Cassidy went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI, and Chloe Saltijeral also had 2 hits.
