Boys track: Fremd edges out Prospect, Hoffman Estates

In a boys track matchup featuring the top two teams from the Mid-Suburban League's indoor invitational, a different team took top honors on Tuesday.

Hoffman Estates was the MSL's indoors champ, with Prospect second.

at Conant: Wheeling (97 points) produced a dominant effort in topping host Conant (54) and Elk Grove (26).

Lawrence Knish won the 110 high hurdles (15.3) and the 400 dash (52.90), and Jason Shannon sprinted to victories in the 100 (10.95) and 200 (22.45) for the Wildcats.
