Recycling event April 29 in Arlington Heights
An electronics recycling and document shredding event is scheduled April 29 in the parking lot of Arlington International Racecourse.
The Arlington Heights Spring Sweep will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, when suburban residents can drop off old electronics, up to three legal-size boxes of documents per vehicle, and old, usable bicycles. The event is sponsored by the Arlington Heights Special Events Commission and Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County.
The drop-off location will be behind the train station on the southwest corner of Northwest Highway and Wilke Road. For more information, visit swancc.org.
