No call to bully and insult Roskam
Congressman Peter Roskam, 6th Congressional District, is a target of national groups like the DCCC, Indivisible, and the OFA, which is why Mr. Roskam argues correctly that he is not being "inaccessible" when he refuses to participate in Town Halls that become well-planned public spectacles meant to shout lawmakers down and create scenes of chaos to be duly televised.
As a resident of the 6th District, I have found that Congressman Roskam is very accessible through frequent communication with his constituents, including telephone town halls and round table discussions.
Constituents of the 6th have every right to voice their concerns and objections to policies. Creating media events to bully and insult the congressman, however, is cynical politics at its worst.
