Arlington Heights business robbed at gunpoint

Arlington Heights police are investigating the armed robbery Saturday of an auto title and payday loan business just west of the village's downtown.

Police said they responded about 10 a.m. Saturday to a call about the holdup at Illinois Title Loans, 822. W. Northwest Highway.

According to police, two men wearing dark hoods, one armed with a silver semiautomatic handgun, entered the building and demanded money.

After receiving approximately $100 in cash, they fled northbound on foot.

No injuries were reported.
