Prospect Heights Public Library Hosts Week of the Young Child April 24-28

"The Week of the Young Child™ is an annual celebration hosted by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and early childhood professionals across the nation, celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers and families."

All young children need and deserve high-quality early learning experiences that will prepare them for life, and the Prospect Heights Public Library has a great opportunity to do our part. Week of the Young Child™ is a time for the Prospect Heights Public Library to recognize that Early Years are Learning Years® for all young children.

Visit the Prospect Heights Public Library to participate in the activities we have planned for you to enjoy with your child. On Monday, April 24, the Library will offer several different art activities for budding young artists. On Tuesday, April 25, the Library will have several cozy corners set up where you can curl up and read a book together. On Wednesday, April 26, The Library will offer many building options for your future engineers. Thursday, April 27, drop in for some Math fun and games.
