Reptile Rampage fundraiser returns March 12
Reptile Rampage, the annual spring fundraiser for the Wildlife Discovery Center in Lake Forest, is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at the center, 1401 Middlefork Drive.
The entrance fee is $10 per person, with kids under 3 free. Visitors can meet, handle and learn about reptiles. More than 150 snakes. lizards, turtles, tortoises and other reptiles from representatives of museums, universities, zoos, nature centers and private collections will be on hand.
There also will be face painting, arts and other activities for kids. A silent auction will be ongoing throughout the day. Proceeds help support the care of the center's animals, wildlife and environmental programming. Visit www.wildlifediscoverycenter.org.
