<h3 class="briefHead">Oscar-nominee Huppert stars in 'Things'</h3>

The After Hours Film Society presents Mia Hansen-Løve's "Things to Come," starring French icon Isabelle Huppert, nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her role in the kinky drama "Elle." Here, she plays a philosophy teacher at a Paris high school.

<h3 class="briefHead">Movies about movies at Pickwick Theater</h3>

Mark your calendars. A new film series called "Movies About Movies: Hollywood Projects Itself" runs on Thursday nights from March 2 to May 25 as part of the Park Ridge Classic Film Series at the Park Ridge Public Library, 20 S. Prospect Ave., Park Ridge. It begins with 1928's "Show People" starring Marion Davies. Other movies to come include "Free and Easy" plus "The Bad and the Beautiful."

All library movies begin at 7 p.m. with free admission. The series will also include "Sunset Blvd" and "Singin' in the Rain" presented at the Pickwick Theatre, 5 S. Prospect Ave., Park Ridge. Go to parkridgeclassicfilm.com/film-schedule/.
