Pitney Bowes acquires Naperville's ProSORT

Pitney Bowes Inc. said it acquired of ProSORT, a Microdynamics company and mailing solutions provider in Naperville, for an undisclosed sum.

Connecticut-based Pitney Bowes combined its operation in Des Plaines into the newer and larger Naperville facility, growing its client base and market opportunity in the Midwest.

"Market expansion remains a strategic objective for Pitney Bowes Presort Services," said Debbie Pfeiffer, president of Pitney Bowes Presort Services. "This acquisition creates new client relationships for Pitney Bowes and strengthens the network of operating centers that our new and existing clients depend on."

With a national network of 33 operating centers, Pitney Bowes a certified work-share partner of the U. S. Postal Service, helping high-volume mailers, including financial services firms, insurers, health care organizations, and mail service providers, optimize postage spend and manage complex industry regulations.
