District 214 Education Foundation online auction launches Sunday

Tickets to see the Chicago production of "Hamilton" are among the items up for bid in the District 214 Education Foundation Online Auction, which starts Sunday, Feb. 19, and runs through Tuesday, Feb. 28.

Collectively, the eBay-based auction boasts more than 80 items with a combined value of more than $13,000.

Two-day getaways in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, a weekend escape to Galena, box seats to "Panic! At The Disco," autographed Chicago Blackhawks and White Sox jerseys, skybox tickets to see the Chicago Wolves, Notre Dame football tickets, front-page Daily Herald press plates celebrating the 2016 World Champion Chicago Cubs, comedy theater tickets, meals out and golf foursomes are among the offerings.

Unique experiences, including a children's birthday party with a skilled magician, a CBS studio tour with award-winning meteorologist Steve Baskerville, an up-close tour of the ESPN Chicago Studio that includes two footballs autographed by Mike Ditka and Jimmy Garoppolo, and tickets to the Monster Trucks National Show also are up for bid.
