Boys swimming: Cary-Grove FVC champ
Cary-Grove's boys swimming team scored 368 points Saturday to easily win the Fox Valley Conference meet at Woodstock North.
Ethan Hare was a double winner for the Trojans, taking first place in the 200-yard IM (2:00.18) and the 100-yard butterfly (54.15).
Other individual event winners for Cary-Grove included Omid Babakhani in the 50 free (22.82) and Noah Siegmeier in the 500 free (4:59.32).
The Trojans also won the 200 free relay in a time of 1:28.69 and the 400 free relay in 3:17.87.
The District 300 co-op team finished second with 264 points and was led by double winner Harold Ogaban, who finished first in the 200 free in 1:48.05 and in the 100-yard backstroke in 54.41.
D-300 also took first in the 200 medley relay in a time of 1:41.60.
