District 54 to host Kindergarten Information Night for English Learners

Parents are invited to learn about District 54's English Learner programs for kindergarten students during an informational meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at the School District 54 Professional Learning Center, 524 E. Schaumburg Road. Please enter through Door C1.

Teachers and district office staff will be available to discuss the language assessment process and the English Learner Resource Program, as well as the English-Spanish dual language program at Enders-Salk, Hanover Highlands, Link and MacArthur elementary schools and the English-Japanese dual language program at Dooley Elementary School. Sessions will be available in Spanish, Polish and Japanese, as well as English. Parents are also invited to check out the multilingual resources that are available at the Schaumburg Township District Library.

Please register your child for kindergarten at your neighborhood school before attending this meeting. You will not be able to register your child at this meeting.
