New knitting club at the Bartlett Library

The Bartlett Public Library District is excited to announce the new addition of their knitting club. It is open to knitters of all skill levels, and it will be a place to share a love of knitting, learn new skills from one another and meet new people.

The first meeting is at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12. And going forward, the club will meet on the second Sunday of each month at the same time.

The club came about due to a new adult volunteer who came to the library with the specific idea of starting a knitting club.

If interested, knitters must bring their own supplies as the library won't have knitting supplies available.

Another upcoming Adult Services program at the Bartlett Library is "Keep Calm & Color On" at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18. Come and experience the latest trend in relaxation: Adult Coloring Books! Studies show coloring has a calming effect on the adult mind and helps to promote overall wellness. Coloring pages from books designed for adults as well as colored pencils will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Registration required.
