Police: Man kills woman, self at Indianapolis trailer home

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Police say a man apparently fatally shot his girlfriend before killing himself at a trailer home in Indianapolis.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says officers responded to a report of a shooting on Wednesday night and found a man and woman had been shot at a mobile home park on the city's southwest side. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say 35-year-old Eric Harden likely shot 27-year-old Tiffany Greer before fatally shooting himself. Police say Greer's 2-year-old daughter was inside the home, but she was unharmed. She's been placed with workers from the Indiana Department of Child Services.

Police say they didn't find anyone else in the home afterward.

Records say that in 2015 the department had responded to the home following an argument between Harden and Greer.
