Join a travelogue on the Dry Tortugas Feb. 2

The Forest Preserve District of Kane County invites area seniors to join them for the free monthly "Senior Stroll" program Thursday, Feb. 2, featuring a travelogue on "Florida's Dry Tortugas."

On the first Thursday of each month, Forest Preserve naturalists lead a leisurely walk through a Kane County Forest Preserve. In the winter months, it moves indoors for special nature presentations.

During the Feb. 2 "Senior Stroll," naturalist Josh Libman will share the story of his recent adventure to the Dry Tortugas, off the coast of Florida. He will use photographs, maps and field guides to tell the story of this culturally and ecologically significant area.

This program will be 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Barbara Belding Lodge at Brewster Creek Forest Preserve, 6N921 Route 25 in St. Charles.

Registration is not required for this free program.
