Geneva dumps Streamwood to snap 2-game skid
Margaret Whitley scored 23 points to lead the Geneva girls basketball team to a 65-36 Upstate Eight River win over Streamwood Thursday night.
Grace Loberg had 12 points and Madison Mallory added 10 for the Vikings (14-4, 7-1), who hit 10 3-pointers in snapping a 2-game losing streak.
Jenejah Williams led Streamwood (9-10, 3-5) with 14 points.
IMSA 43, Westminster Chrstian 32: Elise Van Noord had 10 points and 6 rebounds while Emily Lamp added 5 points and 8 rebounds for Westminster (4-18) in this Northeastern Athletic Conference loss.
St. Viator 62, St. Edward 54: In nonconference action, Maddie Spagnola led St. Edward (18-5) with 22 points. Mallory Rejman had 12 points and Yso Sto. Domingo added 8.
Harvest Christian 75, Faith Lutheran 10: In the NAC, Beka D'Oyley had 16 points to lead Harvest (17-3, 5-0) to the win. Maddy Martin added 11 points and Alyssa Iverson had 10.
