D73 seeks members for new foundation

Hawthorn Elementary District 73 is seeking people to serve on an education foundation board being formed to raise private sector funds to support the goals of a strategic plan. The minimum time commitment includes three annual meetings, but the foundation's success will come from members able to make significant contributions of time and resources, have the determination to complete projects in a timely way with little oversight, and, have a passion for excellence in education. Those with experience in project management, public and media relations, fundraising, web design, and/or event planning are encouraged to apply.
