Fun show teaches Libertyville students about good character

Inspector Iwannano showed up to Adler Park School in Libertyville Thursday to teach kids about good character.

Jeffery Hoge of Chicago used his alter ego in staging fun tasks and magic to uncover the six pillars of character - respect, trustworthiness, responsibility, caring, fairness and citizenship.

The program was organized by Libertyville Elementary District 70's Character Counts committee. Hoge took his show to all four district schools this week.

"We try to make it fun instead of preaching the words at them," he said.
