McCaskey family, sell the Bears

The McCaskey family has once again bamboozled Bears fans with another poor excuse for an NFL team. Their hearts may be in the right place, but they simply don't know what they're doing.

The 2016 Chicago Bears came in with another earthshaking 3-13 record, good for last place in their division. Head Coach John Fox says that the Bears are close. When are the Bear fans going to wise up and stop buying tickets to this yearly abomination? Face it, they stink.

Yet, year after year they give you the same product. They get rid of skilled players like Greg Olsen and draft rehabilitation and reclamation projects that often end up on the DL and eventually on the IR list.

Granted they had a lot of injuries this year, but so did many other NFL teams. The difference is that other teams have backup players who can step up and do the job. They have quality reserves. The Bears simply have too many holes to fill. They don't even know who their quarterback will be next year. What is there to look forward to besides more annihilations and excuses? In the NFL, you are what your record says you are. The Bears are 3 and 13! John Fox says the Bears are close. To what: 4 and 12?
