Reality-star bit won't play on world stage

And so Mr. Trump conducts his "Thank You Tour," ah yes, expressing his heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported him, worked on his behalf and of course voted for him. Real nice and appropriate - right? You be the judge.

The "Thank You" movement began in Ohio. At one point he jokingly and sarcastically exclaimed, "We had fun with Hillary, didn't we?" Smirking and waiting for the crowd's reaction, he looked and sounded more like a standup comic than a man who in a few weeks will be president of the USA. The crowd responded with the the old campaign mantra, "Lock her up. Put her in jail."

He smiled with a devilish grin and went back to the teleprompter. But the crowd as a whole seemed unaware they were being controlled by a master manipulator. The Donald has moved on - no longer will he prosecute Hillary. "Bill and Hillary are good people."

But his supporters are back on Page 1 of the campaign, still shouting obnoxious and juvenile nonsense. Like a seasoned manipulator, he starts the verbal fire, divorces himself and moves on.

His disingenuous rhetoric, although delivered with reality-star aplomb, may have worked on the campaign stage, but as a world leader on the international stage - watch out. At this same Ohio "rally," he invited reporters and media types to attend and then from center stage disparaged and ridiculed them.

His inflammatory words could have indirectly jeopardized their personal security. In four words, Donald, not good, not good.
