GOP, Dems slate Schaumburg Township candidates

All eight Republican incumbents in Schaumburg Township's elected offices have been slated through a party caucus to seek new terms in the April 4 election, while a Democratic caucus also slated four candidates Tuesday to run for trustee positions on the township board.

Schaumburg Township Democratic Committeeman Mike Cudzik said he would announce the names of the four Democratic candidates when they file their nominating paperwork on Monday.

The Republicans seeking re-election are Schaumburg Township Supervisor Mary Wroblewski; Clerk Timothy M. Heneghan; trustees Diane Dunham, W. Robert Vinnedge, Jeffrey S. Mytych and Nimish Jani; Assessor John R. Lawson; and Highway Commissioner Scott M. Kegarise.
