Grain higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was 5.40 cents higher $3.77 a bushel; December corn was up 2 cents at $3.3360 bushel; Marchr oats was .40 cents lower at $2.1460 a bushel while January soybeans gained .60 cents to $10.3040 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was 1.73 cents lower at $1.0885 a pound; January feeder cattle was down 1.55 cents at $1.2623 pound; December lean gained .38 cent to $.5060 a pound.
