Indianapolis Muslim schools received hate-filled letter
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - A Muslim group says a school affiliated with an Indianapolis mosque has received a hate-filled letter warning Muslims to leave the country or face extermination.
The Plainfield-based Islamic Society of North America says the letter sent Tuesday to the MTI School of Knowledge connected to the Masjid Al-Fajr Islamic Center of Greater Indianapolis warns President-elect Donald Trump is "going to do to you Muslims what Hitler did to the Jews."
The Indianapolis Star reports (http://indy.st/2gJvmJc ) the letter postmarked in Los Angeles was signed "Americans for a Better Way."
The Council on American-Islamic Relations says similar letter have been received by at least six California mosques and others in Providence, Rhode Island, and Savannah, Georgia.
Trump has told "60 Minutes" that if his supporters were harassing others, they should "stop it."
