John McDonough to speak at Aurora CVB meeting

John McDonough, president and CEO of the Chicago Blackhawks, will speak next week at the Aurora Area Convention & Visitors Bureau's annual meeting.

McDonough is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the luncheon set to take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 at the Grand Gallery of the Paramount Theater, 23 E. Galena Blvd., Aurora.

Other speakers are expected to talk about and celebrate a groundbreaking year for the Aurora Area CVB. The CVB includes ten cities and towns unified by the Fox River. They include Aurora, Batavia, Big Rock, Hinckley, Montgomery, North Aurora, Plano, Sandwich, Sugar Grove and Yorkville. The CVB stretches out to parts of Kane, Kendall, Will and DuPage counties.
