Arlington Heights village manager gets 3 percent raise

Arlington Heights Village Manager Randy Recklaus has received a 3 percent raise, putting his salary at $190,035.

Recklaus, hired in November 2014 to oversee day-to-day village government operations, is eligible for raises after annual performance reviews in closed session with the village board.

The board also agreed this year to make a one-time contribution of $5,535 to his deferred compensation retirement account.

Last year, Recklaus got a 2.5 percent raise from the board.

His contract runs through November 2018.
