No. 22 Boise State looks for 14th 10-win season facing UNLV

WHAT'S AT STAKE

Boise State's is back in the discussion for a major bowl game thanks to UNLV. The Rebels upset of Wyoming last week gave Boise State hope for a Mountain West Mountain Division title. The Broncos still need one more loss by Wyoming. UNLV has already done damage to Wyoming's conference title hopes and could provide the final blow for the Broncos with a victory.

KEY MATCHUP

UNLV run game vs. Boise State run defense. The Rebels rushed for a season-high 401 yards last week against Wyoming on 64 carries. The success on the ground allowed the Rebels to control the ball for more than 38 minutes. Boise State has been struggling to stop the run, giving up at least 200 yards rushing to three straight opponents.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

UNLV: QB Kurt Palandech. Palandech was named Mountain West offensive player of the week after setting career highs in completions, yards passing, yards rushing and touchdowns in the upset of Wyoming. Palandech was 20 of 32 for 252 yards and three TDs passing, and added 157 yards rushing on 16 carries.

Boise State: WR Thomas Sperbeck. It's the final regular season home game for Boise State's all-time leader in yard receiving. Sperbeck is one of five receivers in school history with more than 200 career receptions and last week against Hawaii had five catches for 114 yards and two touchdowns. It was his 14th career 100-yard receiving game.
