Outlook: With last year's leading scorer Grande graduated, the Eagles will look to their returning players to step into more prominent roles. Four-year starting point guard Gusman and Lemon will lead the back court while seniors Ortiz, Badillo and Alvarez should be solid in the post. "We are a smaller team but will use our speed to our advantage on defense and in transition," said Kuzmanic, a former Wheeling High School and Carthage College standout guard. "Our group has a great work ethic and is improving every day. We hope that translates onto the court this season."
