MacArthur celebrates 50 years in style
Nearly 400 current and past staff, students, administrators and mascots were on hand to help MacArthur International Spanish Academy celebrate its 50th anniversary with a Pasta Night November 4 at Eisenhower Junior High.
The program included recognition of 20 retirees and a student alumnus from every decade, Hoffman Estates Mayor Bill McLeod declaring Saturday November 5 as Douglas MacArthur International Spanish Academy Day in Hoffman Estates, and songs with Mac the Bear and Bullseye the Bull. Everyone had a wonderful time remembering MacArthur's past, celebrating the present and looking forward to the future.
