LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Asia Durr and Ciera Johnson scored 18 points apiece as No. 5 Louisville defeated Belmont 73-50 in the Cardinals' home opener on Sunday.

Mariya Moore added 13 points for Louisville (2-0), which shot 47.7 percent from the field, compared with 32 percent for Belmont (1-1).

Kylee Smith scored a team-high 13 points for Belmont.

No. 6 MARYLAND 100, UMASS-LOWELL 44

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) - Freshman Destiny Slocum scored 15 points, Shatori Walker-Kimbrough had 14 points and Maryland breezed by UMass-Lowell.

The Terrapins entered the season with the nation's top recruiting class, a group that shined in its debut. Freshman Kaila Charles started alongside Slocum and finished with 11 points in 21 minutes.

Brianna Fraser had 14 points and Ieshia Small scored 12 for Maryland, which outrebounded UMass-Lowell 52-30. The Terrapins scored 48 points off 34 UMass-Lowell turnovers.

Nicole Hayner led UMass-Lowell (0-2) with 17 points.

No. 13 TENNESSEE 85, NAVY 55

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Alexa Middleton scored a career-high 21 points as Tennessee capitalized on sizzling 3-point shooting to beat Navy and win a home opener for the 17th consecutive season.

Tennessee (2-0) hasn't lost a home opener since a 69-64 decision against Louisiana Tech in 1999.

The Lady Volunteers shot 12 of 14 from 3-point range, with Middleton going 6 of 7. After connecting on just 25.4 percent of its 3-pointers last season, Tennessee has made 56.4 percent (22 of 39) of its 3-point attempts this season.

Mercedes Russell had 18 points and 10 rebounds for Tennessee. Jordan Reynolds had 12 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Diamond DeShields added 14 points.

Ashanti Kennedy scored 16 points and Taylor Dunham added 14 for Navy (0-2).

No. 14 MIAMI 77, ALBANY 53

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Laura Cornelius scored 12 points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer, to lead Miami past Albany.

Jessica Thomas and Keyanna Harris added 11 points apiece and Erykah Davenport had 10 for Miami (1-1), which held a 46-24 rebounding advantage and had 15 steals. The 11 points was a career high for Harris.

Trailing by a point at the end of the first quarter, Miami got a 3 from Cornelius to spark a 12-2 run that made it 31-22 with 5:19 left in the opening half. The Hurricanes led the rest of the way and stretched the margin to double figures for good when Nigia Green sank back-to-back 3-pointers, making it 42-28 with 2:10 left in the second quarter.

Imani Tate led Albany with 23 points on 10-for-17 shooting.

No. 16 OKLAHOMA 80, SOUTHERN ILLINOIS 48

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Vionise Pierre-Louis had 18 points and six rebounds, Gioya Carter added 16 points and eight boards, and Oklahoma used a big second half to beat Southern Illinois.

Oklahoma had just a 38-32 lead at halftime, but the Sooners started the third quarter on an 8-0 run and outscored Southern Illinois 23-2 in the period. The Salukis were 0-of-10 shooting in the quarter.

It was the fewest points allowed by Oklahoma (1-0) in a quarter since the NCAA started the four 10-minute quarters format last season.

Rishonda Napier, an all-Missouri Valley Conference selection last season, scored 14 points on 6-of-22 shooting for Southern Illinois (0-1).

No. 18 ARIZONA STATE 82, SAN JOSE STATE 37

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Freshmen Robbi Ryan and Reili Richardson scored 11 points apiece and Arizona State rolled to a win over San Jose State.

The Sun Devils (2-0) used 13 players with all but one scoring and 12 playing at least 10 minutes.

The Spartans (1-1) shot 25 percent, making 1 of 14 behind the arc and 10 of 18 free throws. No player reached double figures. Dezz Ramos had nine points on 3-of-16 shooting.

No. 23 INDIANA 94, VANDERBILT 61

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Alexis Gassion matched her career high with 22 points and Indiana dominated the second half for a win over Vanderbilt.

Amanda Cahill had 17 points with a career-high five steals and junior Tyra Buss had 11 points to become the quickest Hoosier to reach 1,000 points.

Indiana (2-0) led 50-38 at the half and blitzed the Commodores (1-1) by making 10 of 14 shots in the fourth quarter for 67-percent shooting in the second half.

Kym Royster's layup started a 12-0 run to open the third quarter with Cahill's jumper capping the surge for a 62-38 lead. It was 72-49 at the end of the period.

Rachel Bell had 11 points for Vandy, which lost its first game under new coach Stephanie White, who coached the WNBA Indiana Fever the past two summers.
