Meat raffle for Special Olympics

The Mundelein Police Department will host its first meat raffle to benefit the Special Olympics of Illinois on Sunday, Nov. 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hitz Pizza, 700 Butterfield Road in Mundelein. Tickets can be purchased at the police department. Advanced tickets are $25, tickets at the door are $30, and include an all-you-can-eat buffet and five raffle tickets - you must be present to win the meat raffle. Additional raffle tickets are 5 for $10. There also will be a 50/50 raffle - tickets are $5 or 4 for $20 and they can purchased in advance - you do not need to be present to win the 50/50 raffle. The Mundelein Police Department's 2016 goal is to raise $38,000. Special Olympics is a 501c3 organization so donations qualify for a charitable deduction.
