BKD IT Risk Services names Hertzberg as director

Angela Morelock, managing partner of BKD's IT Risk Services division, announce the addition of Jan Hertzberg as director.

Hertzberg has more than 30 years of experience providing cybersecurity, IT audit, risk and privacy compliance services. He has experience in identifying and managing IT internal control risks and recommending solutions that apply cybersecurity and privacy frameworks to implement leading practices and help clients meet compliance requirements.

Before joining BKD, Hertzberg led the cybersecurity and privacy practice for an international public accounting firm. That practice provided services to both national and international clients in the health care, financial and professional services, insurance, not-for-profit, higher education, retail and manufacturing industries.

He is a frequent speaker and moderator on cybersecurity and privacy compliance topics. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor and Certified Information Privacy Technologist. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, ISACA and International Association of Privacy Professionals. Hertzberg is a graduate of Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, with a B.A. degree
