Celebrate 100th anniversary of Fourth Street School building

On Tuesday, Nov. 15, Geneva Unit District 304 will host an open house to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Fourth Street School building, 227 N. Fourth St.

Built in 1916, the building served as a Geneva elementary school until 1994.

The building now houses the district's administrative offices. It was dedicated as the Coultrap Educational Services Center in 2013.

Fourth Street School alumni and community members are invited to tour the building and enjoy light refreshments between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Historical photographs and artifacts will be on display.

A rededication ceremony of the Coultrap Educational Services Center will take place at 5 p.m.
