Check out pols who claim to support vets

I just saw another politician telling we voters how much they've done for veterans and how they support veteran issues. They will sometimes even have veterans making the case for them.

I served in the USAF from '67 to '71. I currently get some of my care from the VA. I can only go by my experiences, but I have found the VA staff to be professional, actually better than one private physician I have used and no longer use, and totally satisfactory.

I get upset when I check into the voting records of some of these politicians and find that they have either obstructed, or voted against every veteran issue that has come before Congress and yet they are running ads telling voters how much they've done for veterans.

If you check the background of some of the "veterans" in Congress outside this area, I swear that I never knew there could be so many lawyers in the military.

Before you simply accept the ads of these politicians saying they support veterans, I suggest you do some basic research on the voting records of these politicians before you assume that they truly support we veterans.
