No vote is ever thrown away

In response to your article, "Endorsement: Donald Trump is unfit, Hillary Clinton for president", here are my thoughts: Whether or not you support Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, or a third-party candidate, it is necessary to highlight the importance of participating in the upcoming election.

As a citizen, you need to look at all the candidates and pick the one you feel in your heart would be the best president. When looking at an election, you should stop voting for who you think is going to win, but instead vote for who you want to win.

I disagree that voting for a third-party candidate is just throwing your vote away. If voting for a third-party candidate reflects your truest voice, then it should be heard whether or not that candidate stands a chance of getting elected.

A protest vote has its own effects, and it does and will feel good if it is the vote that most accurately reflects your voice.

Voting is important. As a citizen, the upcoming election is in your hands. Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Gary Johnson, and Jill Stein all have pros and cons, so it is necessary that everyone weighs their options and votes according to who they think would make the best president.

The country's democracy only works if everyone's voice is heard, not just the extreme ones. The next president should reflect the most voices of the whole country, and this is only truly achieved when everyone votes.

I encourage you all to participate in this election, get your voice out, and vote.
