Harvest Seafood and Steak debuts a new fall menu that includes chef favorites like the cedar plank salmon, a citrus crusted wild Alaskan salmon filet in a soy maple glaze for $23; the rack of lamb in an asiago herb crust, creamy asiago risotto and mint demi glaze for $32; the farmers cut 14-ounce rib-eye with mascarpone smashed potatoes and truffle Madeira sauce for $32. Famous Dave's Cubs special

In honor of the Cubs making it to the World Series, Famous Dave's is taking $10 off its All American BBQ Feast for every to-go order on World Series game days. The Feast consists of a full slab of St. Louis-style spareribs, a whole country-roasted chicken, a half pound of either Texas beef brisket or Georgia chopped pork, coleslaw, fries, Wilbur beans, six pieces of sweet corn and four cornbread muffins. Oak Brook Hills' pumpkins and pancakes

Dress up for pumpkins and pancakes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at Oak Brook Hills Resort. The day includes pumpkin decorating, a caramel apple station, trick-or-treating, a harvest photo, fire pits and s'mores, pumpkin rides, games and raffles. A spooky brunch buffet includes bloody finger hot dogs, jack-o'-lantern stuffed peppers, eyeball eggs, candy corn cupcakes, grave yard dirt cups, and for the adults, surf-and-turf eggs Benedict, blueberry and mascarpone crepes, cinnamon challah French toast and more. $20 for adults, $10 for kids 12 and younger, and free for kids younger than 2. Upscale Japanese restaurant Roka Akor partners with Louis Glunz Beer for a Hitachino Nest beer dinner beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3. The dinner menu includes beef tataki with pickled cipollini, dynamite scallop maki, Japanese-style fried chicken with sweet chili aioli and Fresno chili; wagyu beef sliders; and beer doughnuts with chocolate espresso dipping sauce. Beer pairings include Hitachino Nest Ginger Ale, Hitachino Nest Anbai, Hitachino Saison du Japon, Natachino Nest Dai Dai, and Hitachino Nest HX. $65 per person not including tax and gratuity.
