Palatine Park District hosts Halloween Party

The Palatine Park District's annual Halloween Party will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 29, at Community Center, 250 E. Wood St., in Palatine.

For kids ages 1 to 10, the costumed event includes carnival games and prizes, creative crafts rooms, a jack-o-lantern gym, ghoulish goodies, and more. Entertainment will feature a puppet show provided by the Palatine Public Library and Jim Nesci's popular Cold Blooded Creatures show at 10 a.m. to exhibit a variety of reptiles.

Snacks and beverages will be provided, in part, by Costco Wholesale of Schaumburg.

Registration is $5 per child before 4 p.m. Oct. 28 and $7 the day of the event, if available. Adults are required to register for the event as well for $1 each. An adult must remain with and supervise all children throughout the party.

Registration can be completed in advance at the Community Center, Birchwood Recreation Center, or Falcon Park Recreation Center, or online at palatineparks.org using code 440090-01 for children and 440090-02 for adults.
