Cardinal to speak at Mundelein seminary

His Eminence Gerhard Cardinal Müller will give a lecture titled, "The Theology of Freedom: Encountering Christ at the Margins of Society," at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception, Mundelein Seminary, 1000 East Maple Ave., Mundelein. Mass will follow the lecture at 11:15 a.m. Cardinal Müller's lecture is sponsored by the Archdiocesan Office for Evangelization and Missionary Discipleship and the University of Saint Mary of the Lake/ Mundelein Seminary. The lecture and Mass are open to all. RSVPs are requested by Tuesday, Oct. 25, at https://usml.edu/event/muller/. Gerhard Cardinal Müller is prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and is president of the Pontifical Commission "Ecclesia Dei," the Pontifical Biblical Commission and the International Theological Commission.
