What's new at the polls?
The Women Interested in Government Service group is hosting a breakfast program called "What's new at the polls?" with Lake County Clerk Carla Wyckoff from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Gurnee Holiday Inn, 6161 West Grand Ave. Cost is $20 at the door, but RSVP by sending your name to LakeCountyWings@gmail.com. The nonpartisan group is for women who are interested in appointed and elected positions at all levels of government.
